- ➤ The city said the demolition of a 12-story building on West Wilson Street has broken rules since late 2023, while developer Terrence Wall claims city actions like blocking access and installing a bike path have delayed his plan to remove the remaining parking garage. - ➤ A Dane County Board vote was delayed after supervisors toured a Blue Mounds dog breeder on Wednesday and a state enforcement hearing was postponed; the vote on Resolution 119—which calls for revoking the facility’s license and placing over 2,000 dogs into protective custody—is now set for October 23. Residents testified strongly about the treatment of the dogs and the state’s agriculture department postponed its enforcement conference with Ridglan Farms until September 22. WMTV
- ➤ Bradyn’s Law passed the Senate Committee on Judiciary and Public Safety in a unanimous vote Thursday afternoon—named in honor of Braden Bohn and intended to penalize sextortion crimes targeting teens. The law will head to the Senate floor for an October session. WMTV
