- ➤ The City of Madison said that multiple downtown streets and surrounding routes will be impacted on Saturday when the Mini Marathon takes place, with a half marathon, 5K and kid’s run starting at 7 a.m., 7:15 a.m. and 10 a.m. City officials noted that local through access will be allowed along the race route—traffic controls are set to be removed as the last runners pass each location. - ➤ Overnight car break-ins surged in Madison's Elvehjem and Meadowlark Drive neighborhoods as police reported that unlocked vehicles were targeted for cash, credit cards, medications, and jewelry—prompting increased patrols and urging residents to lock their cars. WKOW
