- ➤ Power outages affected over 400 households in Madison and the major disruption hit Green County near the Village of Brooklyn, where 411 customers lost power. Alliant Energy said service was expected to resume around 8:15 a.m.—the cause remains unknown. WMTV
- ➤ Community members in McFarland gathered on Saturday for the annual Walk for Water to raise funds for sustainable wells in Ugandan villages & organizers Gudrun Sinderman and Ron Vanderberg led a three-mile walk and silent auction that helped fund 17 wells to provide clean water for up to 50 years. - ➤ University of Wisconsin police arrested 18 people and removed 30 fans during Saturday’s Badger football game against Maryland—ten of those arrested were UW students and citations were issued for underage alcohol use, object throwing, and disorderly behavior while 17 paramedic calls, three ambulance transports, and 23 first aid calls were recorded.
