- ➤ A UW Madison expert advised 23andMe users to delete their accounts after the company filed for bankruptcy on March 16th—she warned that customer data may be sold to unknown parties and misused, potentially leading to breaches and higher insurance costs. 23andMe stated that customers can delete their accounts, which immediately removes all personal data and genetic samples. - ➤ Madison police investigated bullet damage to an apartment and a car on the west side Monday night near Kessel Court at 10:45 p.m.—officers collected more than ten shell casings and ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 608-266-6014. WISC-TV

- ➤ The Madison School District is weighing a new weighted grading system to give top students better GPAs in response to UW admission programs as students and parents pushed for a change. Officials emailed a survey on March 17—gathering input from high school students and families—and will review responses this spring to decide on a possible rollout for 2025-26.
